Once properly diagnosed, your provider will prescribe the appropriate medication or combination of medications for your condition. Your provider will work closely with you to monitor medication effectiveness, make necessary adjustments, and issue refills.
Ketamine can rapidly alleviate the most severe symptoms of depression, particularly for patients at near crisis levels. For patients struggling with severe bouts of depression, ketamine can reduce the intensity of symptoms, helping prepare the patient for a long-lasting treatment such as TMS. Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS)
TMS is a life-changing treatment for patients suffering from depression, especially those with severe depression or treatment-resistant depression who have not found relief through medication or other treatments. Take Highway 89 south. Turn right off Highway 89 at East Ridgeline Drive. Note: East of Highway 89 the street is Harrison Blvd, West of Highway 89 the street is East Ridgeline Drive. Depending on your starting location, it may be faster to take Harrison Blvd south and continue across Highway 89. For patients living along I-84 it may be faster to take I-84 South to the Highway 89 interchange, then drive north on Highway 89 to East Ridgeline Drive.

Dr. Michael Scott Roundy, MD
Dr. Michael Scott Roundy is a dual-board certified psychiatrist in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine.
Dr. Roundy graduated from medical school at The Uniformed Services University of Health Sciences in Bethesda, Maryland. Following graduation, he served his country as a doctor in the Navy for more than 10 years.
At Ampelis Health, Dr. Roundy focuses on helping patients overcome depression, treatment-resistant depression, postpartum depression, anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and other mental health disorders.
Dr. Roundy is located at Ampelis Health at Mindful Medical in South Ogden, where he provides patients the latest in psychiatric treatments and care. He specializes in helping patients find the unique combination of treatments that will help them to lead meaningful, fulfilling lives. Dr. Roundy is able to help patients recover using medication prescriptions and refills, ketamine therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), and life coaching.
Dr. Roundy is a true local, having been born and raised in Ogden. He graduated from Roy High School and Weber State University. After a distinguished career in the Navy, he was happy to return home to Ogden, where he has lived and practiced medicine for the past 20 years. It is especially gratifying for him to serve members of his own community and help them to live happier, healthier lives by overcoming depression, anxiety, OCD, and other mental health challenges that impact quality of life.
In his spare time, Dr. Roundy can be found on top of the water fishing or beneath the water SCUBA diving.

Marquesa Campbell, PMHNP-BC
Marquesa Campbell is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN). She graduated from Maryville University in St Louis in 2022. Her nursing background includes psychiatry, home health, and surgical services. She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, holistic and patient-centered care for her patients. Marquesa possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to develop a strong rapport with her patients and their families. She is dedicated to treating the whole person and views her practice as multi-faceted including educator, therapist and advocate.
As a part of Ampelis’s clinical staff, she brings compassion and understanding of many under-represented and vulnerable populations in the community. She follows evidence-based guidelines blended with experience, intuition, and personal observation in providing quality care for her patients.
Within her practice she is able to diagnose and treat conditions including ADHD, depression, anxiety, postpartum depression, insomnia, and other conditions. She believes in the mind/body/soul connection and views all patients as a whole person, not just a series of parts. Areas of specialty and focused interest include post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), abuse (physical, emotional, and sexual), panic disorder and relationship stressors. She is able to guide patients towards the most appropriate treatments such as psychotherapeutic and naturopathic medication, ketamine therapy, transcranial magnetic stimulation and therapy/life coaching.
In her free time you can find Marquesa involved in hiking, hot yoga, trying new restaurants and spending time with her children.
